Valentines Day

The Baune family had a fantastic Valentines Day this year! We spent the morning at church and actually made it to the early service this time. We heard a beautiful message and had great worship! We had some fun exploring our backyard to see some of the leftover snow from Friday when we got a few inches. Took some fun photos!

I cooked chicken tetrazzini for Karl with a Greek salad and the best wine in the world... Riesling! I am in love with the sweetness and fragrance it brings! I now have 2 favorite wines. My number one fav is a Riesling made my Naked which is an organic wine. I picked a Washington wine up at the store for Valentines Day called Pacific Rim and it was FANTASTIC!!! However, it did not go well with my Italian dish, but went amazinly well with the chocolate hearts I made and chocolate covered strawberry's I made for Karl! I went to grab my camera to take pictures and of course the battery was dead.

A Beautiful Snow Day in Marietta

I was such a happy girl yesterday! The news forecast predicted snow for Marietta and so it snowed! Just enough to cover the ground and get some great pictures! It probably snowed a few inches and I was totally in heaven! There is just something special about looking out the window and seeing the grass covered in fresh, white powder!!! God is great!!! I got Everett all bundled up to head outside. He really does not have the right kind of snow attire since it does not snow that often in Atlanta. So we did not let him play in the snow... sad, I know. But we had to keep those tiny little hands and tiny little toes warm!

It's Raining, It's Pouring!

It's been a wet day in Atlanta today. Friday's are usually my days to go grocery shopping and it seems the last 3 Friday's it has been raining. So, I have to run fast through the parking lot to make it to dry land... or a dry SUV. But I can't complain because I love the rain! This just means more snow in the Georgia Mt.'s and hopefully the family will make a trip to North Georgia before the winter comes to an end. Everett and I were cooped up in the house all morning and early afternoon while Karl was at school today. I styled his hair in a fro-hawk and let me just tell y'all, he is one hot dude!!! He was even flirting with the ladies at Kroger today. He always gets the attention from the ladies. That is just because I have the most adorable little guy in the world who also happens to have a smile that is just so contagious! But keep away ladies... Everett is off limits til he turns 18! But you can sign up on my waiting list for an arranged marriage. HAHA!

He's a charmer...

...and he's a cheese ball...

...and full of giggles...

...and he's a lover of chocolate (well, not yet, but will be someday)...

...and a day dreamer.

The End.
