New Years Eve with my bestie!

I love this girl so much! Lisa and I have been friends since 7th grade, about 18 years now! She has two children, a boy and a girl! I found out I was expecting and about a month later she broke the great news to me that she was also pregnant! I was in stitches! We've never been pregnant at the same time and we've always talked about how fun it would be to have children the same age! I am due in just a few weeks and she is due in March! I am just loving it! We get to share all of our pregnancy cravings and fun stories together! She truly is the most wonderful friend I could ever ask for and I know that I was an answer to prayer for her!

Karl, Ev and I got to spend New Years Eve together with her and her husband Aaron and their children. Although we did not bring in the new year together due to a sleepy little boy, we had a great time eating and laughing til I peed my pants! Literally! Ha!

Le Belly at 38 weeks

Well, this pregnancy is getting super close to an end! I have been feeling pretty bad as it gets towards the end. All the fun stuff that comes along with pregnancy like low back pain, heart burn, exhaustion (although that never goes away with me even before I ever had children), and just feeling plain uncomfortable. My due date is January 19th so I could go into labor anytime now. With Everett, he came 1 day after his due date, but I know that every pregnancy can be different. I just hope he is not too early and not late at all. I'm like a walking time bomb right now... you never know when I am gonna go off! HA! I've really enjoyed this pregnancy for the most part though. I don't know if I am quite ready for this major life change to happen. I've been spoiled with sleeping through the night with Everett since he was 2 months old. I'll be taking care of a 2 year old and a newborn. And now that Karl is back in school again it will be even more difficult with little help. He'll be in school and working part time and then studying on his free time. I just keep telling myself that this is all temporary!

We were able to get a few pregnancy pictures of my big 'ol belly this last weekend. I woke up on Saturday disappointed because we planned on taking pictures, but it had been raining all night and it was quite mushy and overcast outside. We decided at the last minute to take pictures and I'm glad that we did because we found some beautiful spots to snap some quick pictures. Then we had one last date night before Karl had to head up to San Francisco to start school.
